Thanks for this lovely and indeed, loving tribute to a fine man. I’ve never cried for any other politician. We will miss you, John from Langford.

that was truly lovely. thoughts with his family, and an enduring question on who would have won The Game.

Here i am crying on the way to dodgeball. I had the opportunity to speak with him twice and he was kind and genuine. Thank you John from Langford, RIP.

He took a province that had been completely trashed by years of right-wing rule and put it back in working order, even through a pandemic. Good work, Mr. Horgan. Go with God.

Thank you for that..it was so heartfelt for a man I truly appreciated. He was an amazing person. I was never a NDP voter but always admired how he took care of BC in very dire times.

I’m 74 years old. I started voting at age 19 and never missed a vote, federal, provincial or municipal. John from Langford was the first time in my life I voted NDP. My eldest (always an NDP’er) still talks about it to this day … “she voted NDP, can you believe it?” Prayers of comfort for the family. ❤️

Thank you for sharing your stories Justin. Sorry you didn’t get to meet up with him before gongs for him turned. Perhaps you’ll have to finish that game when you return.

Thank you for the lovely tribute, Justin. I never met John but found him to be so very genuine, something that is rare in politicians. He led our province during a very difficult time with the pandemic. He was still so young and I feel sadness for his wife and sons. They lost a wonderful husband and father. May he rest in eternal peace and know how well regarded he was as a good man.

A lovely tribute to John. Thanks for sharing Justin - it had me shed a few tears. I hope you pick up that boardgame project again one day too.. I just figured out Wingspan - which has little tension between opponents, is unnecessarily complicated yet still enjoyable

Thank you for those great stories Justin. He did have a remarkable ability to joke and connect with people. I worked with him for about 4 years while he was in opposition but he always greeted me as a long lost friend when we bumped into eachother in the years after I left. He and his family deserved more time together outside of the spotlight and scrutiny of a political, public life. I send them all my love and condolences.
